Spring Arboretum Reflection

Medium:

Photography

Artist Statement:

Walking through Prospect Park I’m always struck by the thick walls of trees, and how you can lose yourself in the mass of great oaks, evergreens and elms. Entering the thick wooden arms of the spring trees the park gives a great big hug.

I was struck by this pool of rain water when I was on a walk. The reflection the trees and how it became hare to tell up from down. Thus, lending itself to interesting forms when the image is bent into a pinwheel.
