Artist Statement:

I’ve been visiting the park for over 70 years, and began my photography career 40 years ago.  Living in Park Slope for the past 34 years has given me ample opportunity to enjoy the park and make photographs.  As a child I came to the park on class trips and later, in HS, when I played hooky from school.  In short, I love the park, and my photograph, titled Fairytale in Prospect Park, perfectly describes the sense of wonder I have always felt whenever I enter this heavenly oasis in my beloved borough of Brooklyn.
