September 11th, 15 years later.

When I was in Public School 115, I had a Science Teacher who was planning a class trip. He asked for volunteers to accompany him to Prospect Park to make a surveying map for our class to use while visiting that next week. I cannot describe well enough, the joy the experience had for me other than, besides the sheer excitement of being out of doors in the late spring, and being surrounded by astounding nature; open spaces, and long fields of endless green grass. The compelling vision of a gigantic lake ! There wee also respites of architecture and huge friendly shade trees that were new to me. I am now 66 years old and I will never forget that trip with my Public School Teacher. It helped me learn many things and It had always meant I was on a trip of discovery like Lewis and Clark.
