The Yellow Warblers
Medium:
Drawing & Mixed Media
Artist Statement:
“A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.”
– Maya Angelou
Prospect Park is known as one of the best places to watch birds in the Northeast. Among the many species found in the park, the Yellow Warbler is known for its beautiful voice and color. The clarity with which it sings has inspired some to draw analogies to perfected styles of communication. Some would argue people come to Brooklyn to find that perfect balance of color and communication.
ClockWork Cros presents a pinwheel design featuring two Yellow Warblers flickering with the wind.
